Mercator Consulting 

Mercator Consulting Pty Ltd is the vehicle for management consulting activities by Haydn Wood and colleagues. 

Haydn Wood began consulting work at the beginning of the 1980’s while still a graduate student at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York USA. He returned to Australia in early 1985 and initially worked for three years with IBIS-Deloitte, at that stage a prominent strategic planning firm serving major Australian companies. From 1988 to 1991 Haydn worked for the Strategic Management Associates division of Hay Management Consultants. 

In mid 1991 Haydn established his own consulting business, Mercator Consulting. Over the period to 2014, he successfully carried out consulting projects for a wide range of clients across a wide range of industry sectors. In addition, he began management of a commercial property development business. 

Haydn sold the property assets of the property business in 2014 and retired from fulltime management consulting to spend more time with family and friends and focus on his investment portfolio. Haydn does however still carry out consulting projects on an occasional basis.
